Attention to All Employers!
The Ministry of Human Resources, through the Social Security Organization (PERKESO), will enforce a new salary ceiling for contributions starting 1October 2024. PERKESO has announced that this change follows amendments to the Employees’ Social Security Act 1969 (Act 4) and the Employment Insurance System Act 2017 (Act 800), raising the contribution salary ceiling from RM5,000 to RM6,000 per month.
